I need some cheese... I'm about to WHINE!!!

So I just have a quick complaint about this horrible, awful state (actual state, not mental state :) that I find myself living in today! Yesterday was BEAUTIFUL! The first day I had hope that spring is actually coming. Sunny, 73 degrees! BEAUTIFUL! The park was packed, there was a line coming out the door of Coldstone, people out walking in shorts. It was amazing. We wake up this fine, Sunday morning and what do I see? SNOW!!! I just can't wrap my brain around the fact that it can be 73 degrees one day and the very next day be 35, windy and snowy! It makes me miss Las Vegas in a big way. (Emily, you can't possibly miss this!) So my hopes are dashed that spring is ever going to come. I'm imagining sitting here in the middle of July with 30 degree temperatures. I need to get a grip, I know... but I am downright TIRED of it being so cold ALL THE TIME!!!

Oh Gretchen, spring WILL come, it HAS to for all our sanity!!!! As much as I love snow, I too was complaining about it today. I think we are all ready for spring. It'll happen, keep your chin up! Ha! :-)

I agree with you 100%! It is just wrong, wrong, wrong - Mother Nature has enough of a sick sense of humor that she teases and dangles the warm weather in front of our noses and while we are so focused on how nice it is, she has this big cast iron cold-front-frying-pan that she SMACKS us upside the head - dead center on the temporal lobe - and brings us back to the cold and blustery reality that is: Colorado in March. Hang in there and I will too, soon enough we will be lounging next to the pool watching the children play Marco Polo.....

(wow, I feel better...)

My kids keep asking me when they get to go swimming. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to tell them: "NEVER!"

What ever happened to global warming? Seriously!

Hmmm... I know what you mean... Saturday was 81 degrees and then Sunday we had a HUGE cold snap and dropped down to 65... it was sooo cold! :) I'll be honest... I love Vegas exactly for the weather I get for the next several months... it's beautiful! Sorry Gretchen!
